remember when our hearts broke over 3-year-old Syrian baby, Aylan, who got washed up on the coast of Turkey. We said the conflict must stop! And we must act.
We did nothing.
We see this young boy, Omran, 5-year-old, dazed and confused, all alone surviving air strikes, and our hearts break once more.
I fear that we, as a global community will sit by and do nothing. How many more horrific photos depicting the cost of war will we have to see before we say NEVER AGAIN--and mean it!??!?
Prayers for Syria. These images pull at the deepest parts of our hearts. When we cannot protect even the innocent, our children.
